DA BRAT SENTENCED TO 3 YEARS

Da Brat was sentenced today to 3 years in prison stemming from an incident that occurred at a party on Halloween last year. Apparently Da Brat got into an altercation with another female and bashed her face in with a rum bottle. She pleaded guilty to felony charges and was sentenced while her family in present immediately came to tears. Stay up Brat.

Is Jay-Z looking to downsize on one of his investments? 65wired is hearing some rumblings that Hov is looking to sell his share of the Las Vegas 40/40 club. Apparently Jigga's financial backers aren't too pleased with the lukewarm financial projections and are pressuring him to dump the money pit. We'll see what happens.

ISAAC HAYES PASSES AWAY

Music legend Isaac Hayes passed away today. Tragically his wife found him lying next to a still running treadmill. Tennessee sheriff deputy responded to the scene and transported Hayes to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis where he was pronounced dead at 2:08 pm, at the age 65. The cause of death is currently unknown at this time. As a musician, Hayes is known for his contributions to the R&B, Funk, and Soul genre's which he spawned hit albums "Shaft", "Hot Buttered Soul" and "The Isaac Hayes Movement". He was also the voice of "Chef", one of the most popular cartoon characters in Southpark. He leaves behind 12 children.

Legendary comedian and actor Bernie Mac passed early Saturday morning at a Chicago hospital due to complications from pneumonia. Starting out his acting career in movies such as "Who's The Man", "Above The Rim", and "House Party 3", Mac eventually rose to national fame with his hit T.V. series "The Bernie Mac Show" and his roles in the Ocean's series staring along Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, and George Clooney. 65 wired sends out their deepest condolences to the Mac family. A legend gone before his time Bernie was only 50.

The word is that the concert conglomerate Live Nation is opting out of their 150 million dollar deal with the Jigga man. Apparently Jay-Z's contract includes an exit clause for the concert powerhouse. I guess they over estimated the value of Hov, stay tuned.
